Job summary

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership — a Johnson Controls subsidiary — seeks a Welder for our Nisku facility. You will fabricate prototypes and production parts, weld to spec, and support continuous improvements in a fast-paced environment.

The shift pattern includes 6 AM–6 PM rotating days and 6 PM–5:30 AM Monday–Thursday nights. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, operating MIG, ARC, GTAW, FCAW, and other welding processes, performing pressure and fit-up checks, and maintaining quality

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrician with Red Seal or equivalent.
• Working towards Interprovincial Red Seal or CWB tickets.
• Certified in GMAW, SMAW, and GTAW in all positions.
• Experience with routine maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and welding specs to ensure design intent.
• Operate welding equipment across MIG, ARC, TIG processes.
• Operate brazing, soldering, and flame-cutting equipment.
