Johnson Controls’ facility in Nisku is seeking a Welder to fabricate prototypes and production parts from drawings, using MIG, ARC, and TIG welding in a fast-paced environment. You will read blueprints, fixture parts, and support continuous improvements in work cells.

This role will be offered to work on rotating day shift (6 AM - 6 PM, including weekends) and Monday to Thursday Nightshift (6 PM - 5:30 AM).
The Welder is responsible for the fabrication of custom prototypes from supplied drawings, fabrication of custom jigs and fixtures to produce production parts that meet customer specifications as well as the fabrication of metal structures using jigs and fixtures in a high paced production environment. This position will work with Supervisors and Lead Hands to ensure continuous improvements in work cells, hitting quotas, and welding according to re-set parameters using MIG, ARC, and TIG welding processes.
