Job summary

OCL Group Inc. is hiring two experienced Pipe Welders for its Fabrication Shop in Canada. Roles require proven Stainless Steel pipe welding expertise to fabricate and weld piping, fittings, and vessels per engineering drawings.

Welders will maintain quality, meet deadlines, and work with the Shop Foreman and team in a safe environment, with weekly pay and eligible benefits after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Journeyman B-Pressure Welder ticket required.
• Valid CWB qualifications must be current and in good standing.
• Extensive stainless steel pipe welding experience needed.
• Ability to read and interpret complex shop drawings and isometrics.
• WHMIS 2015, First Aid, and valid Class 5 Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld pressure piping, fittings, and vessels per drawings and specs.
• Maintain shop quality standards and meet project deadlines.
• Perform high-quality welding (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW).
• Collaborate with Shop Foreman and trades for safe, efficient workflow.
• Identify hazards and comply with safety policies and laws.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for two experienced Pipe Welders to join our Fabrication Shop team. We are looking for skilled tradespeople who are quality-focused, organized, and take pride in their work.

Please note: Both positions require specific, proven experience with Stainless Steel fabrication and welding.

Compensation/Benefits

• Competitive wage with excellent hourly compensation
• Overtime after 8 hours per day
• 6% vacation pay and 4% stat holiday pay on all regular hours

Duties/Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld pressure piping, fittings, and vessels according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Maintain shop quality standards and adhere to all project deadlines
• Perform high-quality welding (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, etc.) as required
• Collaborate with the Shop Foreman and fellow tradespeople to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive workspace
• Identify hazards and comply with company safety policies and legislative requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Education/Skills/Experience

• Journeyman B-Pressure Welder ticket
• Valid CWB qualifications (current and in good standing)
• Proven experience with industrial fabrication
• For both positions: Demonstrated, extensive experience in Stainless Steel pipe welding is required
• Ability to read and interpret complex shop drawings and isometrics
• Strong troubleshooting and layout skills
• Safety tickets: WHMIS 2015, First Aid, and valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
