Aecon Concessions in Cambridge, ON is seeking a Journeyperson, Substations to install and maintain overhead, underground, transmission and distribution systems across Canada. The role requires a valid Journeyman Power Lineperson certification and field experience, with safety as a core priority.

You will train junior personnel, read blueprints, operate heavy equipment, and travel to project sites, often on a 21 and 7 schedule, with compensation at $80–$85 per hour under the current collective

Qualifications

• Journeyman Power Lineperson certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years utility experience installing and maintaining lines.
• Ability to climb, work at heights and in extreme weather.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain overhead, underground, transmission, and distribution systems.
• Operate heavy equipment and read blueprints/process specifications.
• Instruct and train junior personnel in safe work practices.
