Job summary
Weyerhaeuser is seeking a permanent full-time Journeyman Millwright at the Kenora Timberstrand Plant to maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical equipment for a 24/7 operation in Kenora, Ontario.
You will join a team responsible for hydraulic systems, welding, fabrication, and SAP work orders, with a focus on safe, reliable plant performance and continuous improvement. Training and relocation support are provided for qualified candidates.
Qualifications
- Mechanical trades qualification in an applicable discipline.
- Three to five years of experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience with hydraulic systems, mechanical equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, welding, fabrication, and SAP work order processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment to support safe plant operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine upkeep on machinery.
- Operate SAP for materials management and work orders.
- Coordinate contractor activities as required.
- Maintain clean, safe work areas and operate equipment safely.
