Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty equipment such as loaders, excavators, and trucks
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operational
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues systematically
• Complete precise and detailed service reports for all maintenance and repair work
• Assist with prioritizing repair orders in collaboration with management
• Mentor and support apprentice mechanics as needed
• Adhere to Wilco's safety protocols and promote a safe working environment
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure tools are in good condition

Requirements

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification (Red Seal)
• Demonstrated experience in repairing and maintaining heavy-duty equipment
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Effective problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Proficiency with technology and ability to adapt to new software
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the heavy-duty industry
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Experience with CVIP inspections is a plus
