Job summary

PTW Energy Services, Inc. in Estevan, SK is seeking Journeyman Electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on industrial projects. You will work on-site with a safety-first team, interpreting drawings and specifications to deliver quality results.

The role requires a valid Journeyperson certificate (Red Seal preferred), ability to read blueprints, and capable of overtime. PTW offers competitive hourly wages, overtime at 1.5x, benefits after probation, and relocation support

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment.
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
• Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.

Role Summary:

We are seeking Journeyman Electricians to join our team in Estevan, SK. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
• Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred).
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid,CSTS, ESTS, First Aid,H2S Alive, WHIMIS
• Experience with PLC or VTScada.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment.
• Valid driver's license
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
