Job summary

PTW Energy Services is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on industrial construction sites near Anzac, AB. You will install electrical systems and read drawings to support our projects.

The role requires a valid Journeyperson certification (Red Seal preferred) and at least 2 years’ experience, with H2S Alive, Fall Protection, and First Aid/CPR. Adaptability to shift work and outdoor conditions is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work
• Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (CPR/AED) and CSTS 2020
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends
• Ability to work in heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions

Responsibilities

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team working on our various construction sites near Anzac, AB. You will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
• Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $45, commensurate with experience and certification
• Shift: 10 days on, 4 days off
• Hours: 12per day, 8 Regular, 4Overtime
• Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
