Job summary

PTW Energy Services, Inc. is seeking a Local Journeyman Electrician to install electrical systems on industrial projects in Peace River. You will read blueprints, follow Canadian Electrical Code, and work with a safety-first mindset. Expect varied shifts and opportunities for overtime while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

The role emphasizes teamwork with other trades, documentation accuracy, and ongoing apprenticeship support within a large Western Canada contractor network.

Qualifications

• Valid journeyperson electrician certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• H2S Alive, Fall Protection, First Aid (CPR/AED) and CSTS 2020.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Valid driver's license and flexibility for shifts, overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Local Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Peace River.You will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred)

• Shift: Various shift schedules available
• Working Hours: Opportunity to work 8 to 12 hours per day based on workload requirements
• Overtime: Overtime opportunities may be available on an occasional basis
• Apprentices: Support is provided for apprenticeship programs and completion of required hours
