Job summary

Tremblay Electric is expanding its Commercial Division with opportunities in Humboldt and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Candidates local to Humboldt are preferred, with the option for Saskatoon referrals. The team typically works four 10-hour days per week with overtime after 10 hours or 40 hours weekly.

We are open to Apprentice and Journeyman applications. Start date is TBD and a valid Journeyperson certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Apprentice or Journeyman applications accepted for local Humboldt and Saskatoon candidates.
• Must have a Journeyperson certificate (Saskatchewan Provincial or Interprovincial).
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• English fluency (read/write/speak).
• Must be available to report to the Humboldt shop and work in various locations.
• Experience in commercial/industrial settings; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Lead apprentices on job sites.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Work safely and follow procedures in a commercial/industrial setting.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and electrical code specifications.
• Maintain maintenance reports and documentation.

Job description

Tremblay Electric is looking to grow our team in our Commercial Division in both our Humboldt and Saskatoon offices!

Our main office is located in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada. You should be available to report to our shop in Humboldt, SK and work in various locations. Our team typically works Monday - Thursday 10 hour shifts. Overtime is after 10hrs a day or 40hrs a week. We are open to Apprentice and Journeyman applications at this time for candidates local to Humboldt as well as Saskatoon.

Responsibilities

• Ability to lead apprentices
• Work as a team member and independently with little supervision
• Work safely in a commercial/industrial setting with the ability to follow procedures and policies
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical code specifications
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• A valid Saskatchewan Provincial or Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
• Provide your own tools and equipment (basic hand tools/steel-toed boots)
• Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license and the ability to maintain a clear abstract
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Experience in Commercial/Industrial Setting
• Industrial facility safe work qualifications
• Physically capable of performing assigned duties
• An aptitude and willingness to learn and proven initiative
