Flyer Electric is seeking a Commercial Journeyman Electrician for commercial projects in Prince Albert, SK. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience on commercial construction sites and hold Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate and Saskatchewan Electrical License.

Qualifications

• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate - Construction Electrician trade is required.
• Proven experience as a commercial electrician expected.
• Saskatchewan Electrical License required.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel regularly.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good relations with site personnel and customers.
• Comply with Company's Health and Safety manual.
• Adhere to Flyer Electric and customer policies and procedures.
• Ensure project safety, profitability, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee materials and equipment use; supervise field activities for each task/project.
• Ensure field work aligns with project plans, specs, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and customer requirements.
• Complete safety docs and daily progress reports (LEM's).
• Attend site meetings and mandatory training; maintain professional image and teamwork.
• Provide supervision and guidance to personnel; train apprentices in tools and techniques.
• Lead by example and perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team on commercial projects in Prince Albert, SK. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience on commercial construction sites.

Shift: 4 - 5 days a week; 8-to-10-hour days

Wage: $43/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and maintain good relations with site personnel and customers
• Comply with Company's corporate Health and Safety manual
• Adhere to both Flyer Electric and customer policies and procedures
• Ensure project safety, profitability, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for the efficient use of materials and equipment, and for overseeing the performance of all field-related activities for each task/project.
• Ensure field work is executed in compliance with project plans including specifications, project schedule, budget, quality, safety, and customer requirements
• Complete and maintain appropriate documentation including all required safety documentation and daily progress reports (LEM's)
• Attend daily and weekly site meetings, as well as all mandatory training
• Maintain a professional image and demonstrate positive attitude, teamwork, and workmanship
• Provide safe and effective supervision and guidance to personnel when needed
• Guide and train apprentices in the proper use of tools, materials, and techniques for most efficient electrical installations
• Lead others by example
• Perform any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate - Construction Electrician trade
• Proven experience as a commercial electrician
• Saskatchewan Electrical License
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel regularly
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Maintain a clean driving abstract and drug/alcohol clearance.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
