Job summary

HighLine Group of Companies in Alberta is seeking a skilled electrician with a Journeyperson Red Seal to install, wire and maintain electrical systems across our projects in Calgary. The position requires teamwork, independent work capability, and a strong safety mindset.

The role involves interpreting blueprints, performing on-call duties, and ensuring adherence to electrical codes. Training and mentorship for apprentices are integral parts of the job, with a focus on quality workmanship and

Qualifications

• Possession of Journeyperson Red Seal ticket.
• Ability to prioritize activities, working independently or with a team.
• Great communication skills.
• Ability to teach and mentor apprentice.
• Ability to learn other skills while on the job.

Responsibilities

• Install EMT, fittings and boxes.
• Install receptacles, switches and wire.
• Install cable tray and pull and terminate data cable.
• Install breakers, panels, disconnects and transformers.
• Be part of our on-call rotation.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematic diagrams.
• Install and maintain power distributions.
