Job summary

Centron Construction in Calgary is seeking a skilled Carpenter to assist in constructing and maintaining building projects across Alberta. You will follow blueprints, install fixtures, framing, and participate in site safety programs.

The role requires Red Seal or equivalent, WHMIS, a valid driver's license, and ability to work outdoors and travel to sites. You will mentor apprentices and collaborate with forepersons to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Carpenter Certification or equivalent.
• WHMIS certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with safety programs is an asset.
• Ability to mentor apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with misc carpentry on site and review blueprints.
• Install fixtures, frames, and site improvements per plans.
• Maintain safety fence, hoarding, and site cleanliness.
• Support with layout, material prep, and coordinating with trades.
• Quality control and adherence to Centron safety standards.
