Atkinson Construction in Edmonton is seeking a Journeyman Carpenter to join our Grande Prairie project team on a 10-on/4-off rotation. You will travel to Grande Prairie for 10 days, then return home for 4 days off, with LOA and company-provided housing while on rotation.

You\'ll perform carpentry tasks across wood framing, interior and exterior finishing, and formwork, reading blueprints, and supporting safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Carpenter Certificate (Interprovincial or Alberta) required.
• Experience with wood framing and concrete formwork.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings.
• Commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Execute carpentry tasks including wood framing and interior/exterior finishing.
• Read and interpret blueprints; request clarification when needed.
• Support site progress, quality control, and deadlines.
• Mentor apprentices and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
