Job summary

A reputable construction company is seeking skilled Foreman/Crew Lead Carpenters, Carpenters, and Apprentices in the Grande Prairie area. Candidates should have carpentry skills, a valid driver's license, and ideally hold a Journeyman Carpenter certification. Responsibilities include various carpentry tasks and maintaining a positive work attitude. Travel, accommodation, and Living Out Allowances will be provided for location work.

Qualifications

• Certified Journeyman Carpenters preferred, equivalent experience accepted.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
• Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities.

Job description

We are a reputable construction company specializing in high-performance, energy-efficient building projects. Our expertise includes residential, commercial, and occasional industrial sectors. We are currently seeking skilled individuals for Foreman/Crew Lead Carpenters, Carpenters, Apprentices, and Skilled Labourer's. Projects are available around the Grande Prairie, AB and BC area.

Responsibilities:

• Complete various carpentry tasks, including footings, ICF foundations, and framing.
• Experience in high-production framing, including floors, walls, and roofs, will be considered an asset.
• You are a reliable team player who pays attention to details and takes pride in their work.

Qualifications:

• Certified Journeyman Carpenters are preferred, but we will also consider non-ticketed Carpenters with the equivalent experience and a proven skill-set of a Journeyman.
• The possibility of sub-contracting may be available for the right candidates.
• Wage is dependent on the position and your experience.
• You must have a valid driver's license and your own personal vehicle.
• Having your own tools and a trailer for location work is a bonus, but for the right candidate, one can be provided.
