Job summary

Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools is seeking a Journeyman Carpenter (Maintenance 2) for the Catholic Education Centre in Grande Prairie, AB. This is a full-time, permanent position (40 hours/week) commencing as soon as possible.

Salary is $36.67 per hour, with a comprehensive benefit package and pension plan included. Duties include maintaining and repairing buildings and furnishings, inspecting facilities for preventative maintenance, and other tasks as assigned by the Director of

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs buildings and furnishings related to carpentry, including doors and frames, windowsills and frames, door hardware, exterior and interior wall finishes, millwork, baseboards and moldings.
• Maintains equipment and furnishings, including gymnasium bleachers and partition walls, theatre seating, window coverings, toilet partitions and accessories.
• Examination and inspection of district owned facilities on a regular basis for preventative maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities.
