Job summary

Rambler Fabrication in Alberta seeks a skilled B-Pressure Welder for full-time, on-site work. Read blueprints, weld stainless steel and pressure piping with GTAW, SMAW, GMAW and FCAW. Mentor apprentices; follow safety and quality programs. Requires 3+ years in pressure piping/welding and Alberta Journeyperson Red Seal (CSTS/WHMIS preferred). Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding and flame-cutting equipment safely and accurately.
• Mentor apprentices and follow quality control programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and company procedures.

Rambler Fabrication is now looking to add a B-Pressure Welder to the team.

Work Schedule:

Day Shift – Monday to Thursday - 6:00am to 4:30 pm

Role & Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as; gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW)
• Stainless steel, gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), and submerged arc welding etc.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Assist with the maintenance and repair of welding equipment
• May adjust welding heads and tooling according to work specifications
• Mentor and train apprentices
• Must follow all company policies and procedures including Trotter & Morton's Health and Safety program
• Understand and follow company Quality Control Program
• Perform other duties as required

Required Experience:

• Experience with SMAW/FCAW/MCAW/GMAW/GTAW welding is essential, other welding experience is an asset
• Minimum 3 Years of experience in pressure piping / vessels / stainless steel welding and fabrication environment
• Must possess a valid Alberta Journeyperson Certificate with Interprovincial Red Seal in Welding is preferred
• Must have CSTS/ WHIMIS
