Job summary

Nathan Auto Industries Inc. in Saskatoon, Canada is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair engine, electrical, brake, steering, suspension and drivetrain systems.

You will perform advanced diagnostics with OEM and aftermarket tools, replace worn components, test repairs, and collaborate with certified technicians to ensure safety, quality and efficiency. This role requires adherence to OH&S regulations and shop procedures; you will update repair orders and keep bays

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, brake, steering, suspension, and drivetrain systems.
• Perform advanced diagnostics using OEM and aftermarket scan tools and equipment.
• Identify and resolve drivability, performance, and safety issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections including oil changes, tire rotations and alignments, brake services, fluid checks, battery replacement, and multi-point inspections, while ensuring safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Ensure all maintenance and repairs meet safety and quality standards.
• Complete repairs according to OEM specifications and procedures.
• Replace worn or damaged components as required.
• Test and verify proper operation after repairs.
• Collaborate with certified technicians and other team members to diagnose and resolve complex issues, contributing technical knowledge and supporting effective problem solving.
• Use internal digital tools to update information related to repair orders in accordance with the dynamics of daily operations
• Follow company procedures, OH&S regulations, and shop safety protocols at all time.
• Keep work bays, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.
• Road test vehicles when required and permitted to verify repairs.
