Job summary

Done Rite Autobody & Painting Ltd. is seeking a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair a broad range of vehicles. You will execute complex mechanical and electronic repairs, mentor apprentices, and ensure every vehicle leaves the shop meeting OEM specifications and safety standards.

Basic tools are required; benefits and RRSP are available for eligible team members in this full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Must hold Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician Certification (Red Seal or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for test drives.
• Experience with computer-based management, diagnostic equipment, wiring diagrams, and OEM repair software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of domestic and import vehicles.
• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs ensuring OEM specifications and safety standards.

As a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of domestic and import vehicles. You will execute complex mechanical and electronic repairs while maintaining high efficiency, mentoring apprentices, and ensuring every vehicle leaves our shop meeting strict safety and OEM specifications.

• Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician Certification (Red Seal or equivalent state/provincial license required).
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (required for test drives).
• Proficiency with computer-based managment, diagnostic equipment, wiring diagrams, and OEM repair software (e.g., Mitchell1, AllData, etc).
• Personal inventory of tools and tool-box.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, maneuver heavy parts, and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
