Job summary

Squamish Nation is seeking a Jordan's Principle Service Administrative Support to join the Ayás Mén̓men Child & Family Support Services Department in North Vancouver, BC. The role provides critical administrative and program support to help Indigenous children access health, social, and educational supports and manage funding and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Office Administration or related field required.
  • 2–3 years of related experience in administration or social services.
  • Experience with service coordination, client intake, or case management is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and administrative systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate payments for approved Jordan's Principle requests according to guidelines.
  • Maintain budgets, process invoices, and support financial tracking.
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain funding and program data for reporting.
  • Collaborate with Indigenous Services Canada, service providers and families to support service delivery.
  • Provide administrative support to the Jordan's Principle Service Coordinator and team.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to requests, approvals, services and payments.
  • Prepare funder reports and assist with reporting with leadership and finance teams.
  • Schedule appointments, assessments, therapy sessions, transportation, meetings, and travel for families and staff.
  • Assist with community outreach and initiatives to raise awareness of Jordan's Principle.
  • Support project tracking, budget preparation, and administrative reporting.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative Child & Family Services team environment.
