Job summary

Cprime is seeking an experienced Atlassian Administrator to deliver high-quality Jira and Confluence solutions for client implementations. You will configure, customize, and optimize Atlassian tools to meet client needs, while collaborating with teams to ensure timely delivery and sustained success.

The role requires strong knowledge of Jira suites, Confluence, and integrating add-ons, with a focus on process excellence, documentation, and customer-facing guidance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience configuring and administering Atlassian products (Jira Core, Jira Software, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, ITIL, and Agile frameworks.
• Experience with JQL, automation rules, SLA configurations, and user/permission management.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field a bonus but not required.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with minimal guidance.
• Strong multitasking to manage multiple clients and deliverables.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/spoken communication.
• Strong organizational, process orientation, and attention to detail.
• Desire to continuously learn and apply best practices in Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, administer, and enhance Jira Core, Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and key add-ons.
• Guide configuration and documentation of client Jira/Confluence instances.
• Translate client requirements into project deliverables.
• Work with customers to enable custom workflows, fields, screens, dashboards, and reports.
• Create and manage complex configuration elements: workflows, screens, permissions, and notification schemes.
• Advise on best-practice configuration to avoid common pitfalls.
• Install and configure 3rd party add-ons for enhanced capabilities.
• Provide client guidance on Jira/Confluence usage, administration, and operational maintenance.
• Support client admins and users to ensure successful implementations.
