Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. is seeking a senior software developer to analyze business needs and craft technical solutions within budget and schedule constraints.

You will design, develop, and test web applications and services using Java and .NET, while applying CI/CD practices and secure coding standards. A hybrid work arrangement with two office days per week is expected, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar senior software development role.
• Experience with Agile projects (Scrum, Kanban or equivalent).
• Master software development best practices: Clean Architecture, Clean Code, Design Patterns, SOLID.
• Expertise in web apps and services with Java and .NET.
• Knowledge of Java 8+; Spring Boot 2+, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Maven, Git, SQL, RESTful APIs, SOAP (CXF).
• Familiarity with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC/Core, Entity Framework.
• Experience in REST API development, integration, and automated testing (unit/integration).
• CI/CD practices with Concourse.
• Security-conscious development and integration of secure practices.
• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams with autonomy.
• Strong curiosity, organization, analytical skills and communication.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and DevOps tools.

• Ensure the integration of technical components and solve problems related to the delivered solutions.

The profile you are looking for is as follows:

• Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role in senior software development;
• Experience with projects carried out in Agile mode (Scrum, Kanban or equivalent);
• Master software development best practices, including Clean Architecture, Clean Code, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles;
• Demonstrate expertise in developing web applications and services with Java and .NET;
• Know Java 8 and later, Spring Boot 2, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Maven, Git, SQL, MapStruct, RESTful APIs, and SOAP Services (CXF);
• Be familiar with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core /.NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework;
• Experience in REST API development and integration, as well as automated testing (unit and integration);
• Apply continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, including Concourse;
• Understand the principles of application security and integrate them into developed solutions;
• Collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating autonomy;
• Demonstrate curiosity, thoroughness, organization, analytical skills and excellent communication skills;
• Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture and DevOps tools for automating deployments (an asset);
