You will oversee hiring, training, supervision, compliance with licenses and safety standards, client relations, and growth initiatives while keeping expenses in check and budgets aligned with targets.

Responsibilities

• Subcontractor management.
• Hiring, training, and supervising subcontractors.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with security clearances, GST, licenses, WCB, liability insurance.
• Ensure Alpine standards are adhered to via subcontractor work.
• Conduct site inspections to verify work quality.
• Manage client relations and address complaints.
• Support growth initiatives and bids.
• Oversee equipment repairs and budget-aligned subcontractor hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Subcontractor Management
  
• Participates in the hiring, training, and supervision ofsubcontractors and their activities
  
• Ensures that subcontractors are compliant withrequirements such as security clearances, GST, business licensing, WCB,liability insurance, etc
  
• Ensures that Alpine standards are adhered to throughsubcontractor work
  
• Conducts periodic audits or site inspections to ensurethat work is completed as required
  
• Client Relations Management
  
• Liaises with clients to ensure that performance standardsare met and complaints are addressed
  
• Participates in same-site growth (additional services,additional square footage, additional fees)
  
• Contributes to new growth initiatives, including bids
  
• Expense Management
  
• Oversees or coordinates equipment repairs
  
• Ensures subcontractor hours are in line with budget
  

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Management experience in a fast-paced environment dealingwith a very diverse work force
  
• Excellent client relationship skills
  
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and otherprograms to produce reports and trends and results for the account
  
• Excellent communications and change management skills
  
• Ability to create programs and tasks to further theoffering to the client, as well as the organizational skills to executesuch programs
  
• Ability to travel on an active schedule as well beingavailable for any immediate issues that may arise
  
• Ability to identify positive and negative trends and applyproblem-solving skills to resolve issues
  
• Janitorial experience in the grocery industry (stripping,waxing, scheduling etc.)
  
• Professional approach to the client and the diverse workforce in the industry
  
• Ability to raise concerns with the client on aprofessional level as well to foresee potential issues that may arisebased on conditions and unforeseen events
  
• Confidence to speak up and push back diplomatically andrespectfully
  
• Ability to grow sales by identifying adjacent or growthopportunities
