Aramark is hiring a Janitor/Driver for a brand-new remote lodge opening near Chapleau, Ontario. The role features a 14 days on/14 days off rotation with 10 or 12-hour shifts. Transportation is provided from Timmins, ON, and meals and on-site accommodations are included to support the opening team.

The position focuses on cleanliness, safety, and general lodge maintenance, with opportunities for training and career growth as the lodge launches.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check required.
• Driver's license required.
• Driver's abstract required.
• Current WHMIS & 4 Step Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment and to comply with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to promote safety and health for guests and team members.
• Cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Transports waste to designated areas and follows disposal procedures.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders to appropriate personnel.
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.

Exciting opportunity! ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services is hiring Janitor/Driver for a brand-new remote lodge opening near Chapleau, Ontario at the end of November. Join our team and play a key role in launching this exciting new operation.

About The Role

The Janitor/Driver are responsible for keeping the overall cleanliness and sanitization of the lodge. Janitors could be supporting in other areas of general cleaning of the lodge.

Job Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
• Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals
