Job summary

Farm Boy Inc. in Aurora, CANADA seeks a dedicated janitorial teammate to help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe shopping environment. You will support customers and Team Members by keeping shared spaces orderly and contributing to a positive in-store experience.

Responsibilities include customer service, general housekeeping, inventory support, and adherence to Health & Safety and Food Safety policies. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience in a food retail environment is asset.
• Ability to work independently with high-quality results, attention to detail, and cleanliness standards.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on setting with deadlines, lifting, and exposure to elements.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and engaging customer service to support Farm Boy's experience.
• Welcome, greet, and assist customers using Farm Boy Service Standards.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas (housekeeping).
• Ensure shared and team spaces are well maintained (eating areas, washrooms, locker rooms).
• Assist with inventory tracking and purchasing of store supplies as requested.
• Follow corporate policies with focus on Health & Safety and Food Safety.
• Complete designated opening and closing procedures and support teammates as needed.
• Take on additional responsibilities periodically to support store operations.
