Job summary

Performance Auto Group is seeking an IT Technician to join the Muskoka IT Team. You will provide technical assistance, deploy workstations, manage helpdesk tickets, and maintain systems to ensure smooth operations for PAG employees.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in computers, networks, and helpdesk contexts, with strong communication and teamwork. Ontario driver license is preferred, and the company offers a supportive environment and career development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment preferred.
• Knowledge of the retail automotive industry preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and deploy workstations and laptops.
• Manage IT tickets from PAG employees.
• Document resolutions and analyze trends to prevent issues.
• Build rapport and elicit problem details from users.
• Prioritize and escalate hardware and software issues as needed.
• Maintain and update software, drivers, and knowledge bases.
• Perform preventive maintenance and on-site/office repairs as required.
• Create user guides and FAQs for end users.
