Job summary

Swim Recruiting is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst for a 12-month contract in Edmonton, on-site with potential extension. The role blends business analysis and organizational change management on a public-sector transformation initiative.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in BA/OCM roles, holds IIBA and Change Management certifications, and can lead both requirements work and adoption activities within a structured, government-facing program.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressively responsible experience across business analysis, OCM, project delivery, or process improvement.
• Business Analysis certification (IIBA or equivalent) and Change Management certification (ACMP, Prosci, CMI, APMG, or equivalent).
• 5+ years developing integrated plans, project documentation, and executing strategies involving technology, process, and organizational change
• 5+ years working in a project-management capacity, including scope, governance, and stakeholder/leadership engagement.
• 5+ years working with Agile, Waterfall, and other delivery methodologies, including cross-functional requirements work.

Responsibilities

• Support business analysis, organizational change management, process improvement, BI, and application support initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT Project Manager from initiation through post-deployment stabilization.
• Move between requirements work, process redesign, application implementation, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption measurement.

12-month contract Senior Technical Business Analyst role blending business analysis and organizational change management on a public-sector transformation initiative.

• 12-month contract with potential extension of up to 12 additional months.
• Primarily on site in Edmonton, candidate must reside in Alberta for the contract.
• Anticipated allocation of 60% Business Analysis / 40% Organizational Change Management.

Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to support business analysis, organizational change management, process improvement, business intelligence, and application support initiatives, working closely with the IT Project Manager from initiation through post-deployment stabilization. The strongest candidate is a hands-on transformation professional comfortable moving between requirements work, process redesign, application implementation, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption measurement.

You:

You'll bring the following experience and capabilities:
