Job summary

Windsor Salt in Canada seeks an IT Administrator to provide overall direction for Microsoft 365, Azure, and network systems. You will coordinate IT requirements for offices, plants, and remote sites in a 24/7 environment.

The role requires 1–3 years of IT experience, a related degree is an asset, and French language ability is preferred. Travel up to 25% is expected as part of duties.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in this role is required.
• University or college degree in any IT-related field is an asset, or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in French is preferred.
• Must fully document work procedures and communicate effectively.
• Microsoft certifications are preferred but not required.
• Strong problem solving and customer service skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Modern Workplace, M365, IT operating systems and server apps.
• Hands-on experience installing IT hardware/software.
• Ability to work in a 24/7, mission critical environment.
• Travel between locations up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd level IT support for main offices, plants, and remote locations.
• Maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premises infrastructure and security.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and internal staff to meet IT standards.
• Install and maintain production control and monitoring equipment.
• Administer business applications and licenses; support IT policies.
