JAM Industries in Montréal, QC is seeking a mid-level Systems Administrator to maintain Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP and Azure environments. You will provide L2/L3 escalation within the IT Infrastructure team and help ensure stable, secure infrastructure across North America.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in a Systems Administrator role with strong Azure skills, networking fundamentals, and PowerShell scripting.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in Systems Administrator role with Azure in operation
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory administration
• Solid networking fundamentals
• Operational experience with Azure: VMs, VNets, NSGs, Azure Backup
• PowerShell scripting for administration tasks
• Able to provide L2/L3 support independently
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server, AD, DNS, and DHCP.
• Manage Azure resources: VM, VNets, storage, backups.
• Support Entra Connect for hybrid identity.
• Provide L2/L3 escalation and incident support.
• Monitor health, performance, and capacity; apply patches.
• Perform backups and ensure recovery readiness.
• Document configurations and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with SysAdmins, network, security, and SQL teams.
• Support peripherals for business applications and integrations.
