Job summary

Fitness World Canada in Richmond, BC is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to keep our technology operations running smoothly. You'll resolve Help Desk tickets, manage on‑premises Windows Server and cloud infrastructure, and lead IT projects that impact multiple club locations.

Require a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT and 2+ years of IT support or sysadmin experience. Travel between club locations in the GVRD and Vancouver Island is expected; in‑person interviews only; no remote roles.

• 2+ years of experience in Help Desk, IT Support, or System Administrator roles.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and respond to Help Desk tickets to ensure IT infrastructure runs smoothly.
• Administer on‑premises Windows Server and cloud infrastructure (e.g., M365).
• Assist with deployment and implementation of new hardware, software and systems.
• Design and implement IT projects and document processes.

We're looking for a driven IT Systems Analyst to be the backbone of our technology operations — resolving technical issues, managing cloud and on‑premises infrastructure, and leading new IT projects that make a real impact. Responsibilities

• Resolve and respond to Help Desk tickets in a timely manner to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, systems, servers, etc.
• Conduct various day‑to‑day activities, including new hire setup, changes and termination in various company‑wide systems.
• Investigate errors and issues to identify the root cause and resolve the issues; expand as required
• Administer on‑premises Windows Server and cloud infrastructure (ex. M365)
• Assist with the deployment and implementation of new hardware, software and systems, etc.
• Help design and implement new IT projects and integrations, and build documentation

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in Help Desk, IT Support, or System Administrator roles

Skills & Attributes

• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Linux environments
• Familiarity with VMware, backup tools like Veeam, and relational databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, JSON, XML, or Python is a strong asset
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment
• Note: Moderate travel between club locations both within the GVRD and Vancouver Island will be required
