Job summary

The Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation (NLC) is seeking a customer-focused Computer Support Technician to join the Information Technology team. This role provides front-line IT support across NLC’s corporate offices, retail locations, and distribution operations, ensuring reliable, secure technology services.

Responsibilities include incident management, device provisioning, AD administration, vendor coordination, and IT asset management.

Qualifications

• Two-year post-secondary diploma in Information Technology or related field.
• At least 1 year of IT support experience.
• Experience with Helpdesk and IT ticketing systems; deploying and troubleshooting PCs, peripherals, Windows OS, Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Active Directory, basic networking, documentation, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line IT support across offices, retail locations, and distribution operations.
• Log, prioritize, monitor, and resolve incidents via the IT ticketing system.
• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain computers, devices, software, printers, and network connectivity.
• Manage user accounts and AD objects; enforce IT security policies.
• Coordinate vendor service calls and provide guidance and training to employees.
• Support IT asset management: inventory, procurement, deployment, disposal.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and incident escalation.
