Job summary

MNP is seeking an IT Support Technician to empower teams across Canada by deploying and maintaining technology tools and providing daily user support. You will be a trusted advisor, assisting in tax and accounting applications while upholding our IT standards and processes.

Join a diverse technology team and contribute to knowledge sharing, training, and continuous improvements, with occasional travel and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or customer service.
• Proficient in Windows-based operating systems.
• Fluency in French and English for cross-Canada collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support team members daily in the use of technology tools, in person and remotely across Canada.
• Deploy, configure, and support key business applications, especially in tax and accounting.
• Provide technical support and maintenance for workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Contribute to IT support standards, guidelines, policies, and processes.
• Manage requests through ServiceNow and enrich the knowledge base.
• Deliver training to help teams become more autonomous and efficient.
• Collaborate within a large Technology team, showing autonomy and initiative.
• Travel outside home city as required, including same-day or multi-day trips.
• Be available for occasional shifts outside standard hours or on-call.

Responsibilities

• Support team members daily in the use of their technology tools both in person and remotely, across Canada
• Deploy, configure, and support our key business applications, particularly in tax and accounting,
• Provide technical support and maintenance relating to workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Contribute to the evolution of our IT support standards, guidelines, policies, and processes
• Manage requests through ServiceNow and enrich our knowledge base for the benefit of the entire team
• Deliver training individually or in groups, to help them become more autonomous and efficient
• Collaborate within a large Technology team while demonstrating autonomy and initiative
• Travel outside your home city as required, which may include same-day travel or multi-day trips
• Availability to work occasional shifts outside of standard hours or in an on‑call rotation, to support the continuity of service

Skills and Experience

• Technologically savvy, with a strong ability to learn new applications, platforms, and systems quickly
• Experience in IT support or customer service
• Proficient in modern Windows-based operating system
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and translate their needs into concrete solutions
• Knowledge of audiovisual technologies and business applications in professional services is an asset
• Familiarity with networking, coding, or IT asset management is an asset
• Written and verbal French and English language skills, due to frequent collaboration with English‑speaking teams/clients across Canada and some client deliverables/regulatory reporting obligation are in English
