Job summary

MNP is seeking an IT Support Technician to help maintain and optimize technology for team members across Canada, including on-site and remote support. You will deploy, configure, and support essential business applications, with emphasis on tax and accounting tools, while ensuring devices and peripherals run smoothly.

You will join a dynamic Technology - Support Services team, providing training, knowledge sharing, and proactive support to enable colleagues to work efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience providing IT support or customer service.
• Proficient with Windows operating systems.
• Strong learning ability for new applications and tools.
• Bilingual English/French communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support team members with technology tools in person and remotely across Canada.
• Deploy, configure, and support key business applications, especially in tax and accounting.
• Maintain workstations, laptops, mobiles, and peripherals.
• Contribute to IT support standards, policies, and processes.
• Manage requests via ServiceNow and enrich the knowledge base.
• Deliver training to help colleagues become more autonomous.
• Collaborate within a large Technology team while showing initiative.
• Travel as required and be available for occasional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support team members daily in the use of their technology tools both in person and remotely, across Canada
• Deploy, configure, and support our key business applications, particularly in tax and accounting,
• Provide technical support and maintenance relating to workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Contribute to the evolution of our IT support standards, guidelines, policies, and processes
• Manage requests through ServiceNow and enrich our knowledge base for the benefit of the entire team
• Deliver training individually or in groups, to help them become more autonomous and efficient
• Collaborate within a large Technology team while demonstrating autonomy and initiative
• Travel outside your home city as required, which may include same-day travel or multi-day trips
• Availability to work occasional shifts outside of standard hours or in an on-call rotation, to support the continuity of service

Skills And Experience

• Technologically savvy, with a strong ability to learn new applications, platforms, and systems quickly
• Experience in IT support or customer service
• Proficient in modern Windows-based operating system
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and translate their needs into concrete solutions
• Knowledge of audiovisual technologies and business applications in professional services is an asset
• Familiarity with networking, coding, or IT asset management is an asset
• Written and verbal English and French language skills
