Job summary

MNP is seeking an IT Support Technician to empower colleagues across Canada. You will support, utilize and maintain our technology to ensure smooth IT operations and enable teams to work efficiently and effectively.

You’ll deploy, configure and support key business applications, particularly in tax and accounting, and handle devices and peripherals. Travel and on-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• It experience or customer service background.
• Proficient with Windows operating systems.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Willing to travel as required.
• Availability for occasional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support team members in using technology tools in person and remotely across Canada.
• Deploy, configure and support key business applications, especially tax and accounting.
• Maintain workstations, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Help evolve IT support standards, policies and processes.
• Manage requests via ServiceNow and enrich the knowledge base.
• Deliver training to improve autonomy and efficiency.
• Collaborate within a large Technology team with initiative.
• Travel as required; same-day or multi-day trips.
• Occasional after-hours/on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Support team members daily in the use of their technology tools both in person and remotely, across Canada
• Deploy, configure, and support our key business applications, particularly in tax and accounting,
• Provide technical support and maintenance relating to workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Contribute to the evolution of our IT support standards, guidelines, policies, and processes
• Manage requests through ServiceNow and enrich our knowledge base for the benefit of the entire team
• Deliver training individually or in groups, to help them become more autonomous and efficient
• Collaborate within a large Technology team while demonstrating autonomy and initiative
• Travel outside your home city as required, which may include same-day travel or multi-day trips
• Availability to work occasional shifts outside of standard hours or in an on‑call rotation, to support the continuity of service

Skills and Experience

• Technologically savvy, with a strong ability to learn new applications, platforms, and systems quickly
• Experience in IT support or customer service
• Proficient in modern Windows-based operating system
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and translate their needs into concrete solutions
• Knowledge of audiovisual technologies and business applications in professional services is an asset
• Familiarity with networking, coding, or IT asset management is an asset
• Written and verbal French and English language skills, due to frequent collaboration with English‑speaking teams/clients across Canada and some client deliverables/regulatory reporting obligation are in English
