Job summary

PeopleToGo Inc. in Kelowna, BC, seeks a Support/Helpdesk Analyst for a 1-month contract covering medical leave with potential extension. Mon–Fri, 8:00–16:30.

Rate: $27/hr for T4 or $33/hr for Inc. You will provide first-line tech support in a predominantly Microsoft-based environment, handling devices, accounts, and access issues. You’ll assist with Microsoft Entra ID/AD, M365, SCCM/Autopilot, Intune, and basic networking, while contributing to asset management and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate from a recognized Information Technology program, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in a first-line IT support role.
• Certifications (e.g. MS-900, ITIL 4, CompTIA A+) are considered assets.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS desktop environments.
• Strong knowledge of desktop hardware, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft 365 applications and user access issues.
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as FreshService, ServiceNow, or Jira Service Management.
• Basic understanding of network concepts (VPNs, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS).
• Imaging/deploying Windows and macOS devices using SCCM or Autopilot.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and service requests, providing first-line IT support and escalating complex problems.
• Support day-to-day IT operations, onboarding/offboarding, device setup, and account provisioning.
• Manage user accounts in Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory and related apps.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) and user access issues.
• Support devices in a Microsoft-centric environment (AVD, Intune, AD, SCCM/Autopilot).
• Diagnose basic network issues and escalate complex cases as needed.
• Handle hardware imaging and maintenance for end-user devices.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and document troubleshooting steps in ITSM.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to coordinate service delivery.
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional travel to local offices.
