Job summary

Vivacity Technologies, based in Canada, seeks an Information Technology Practice Lead to drive digital transformation and IT projects for clients including SMEs, municipalities, and First Nation organizations. You will lead engagements, ensure high-quality deliverables, and align IT initiatives with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/MIS or equivalent experience.
• 5–7+ years designing and deploying ICT systems.
• Strong problem solving and change leadership.
• Proven ability to mentor teams and build high‑performing cross‑functional groups.
• Excellent relationship building with team members and clients.
• Experience responding to RFPs/RFQs is a plus.
• Ability to define a vision, develop a strategy, and execute plans.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements to deliver digital transformation and IT projects.
• Ensure services, project work and reports meet Vivacity standards.
• Apply deep knowledge of IT shared services and align with business teams.
• Implement Microsoft 365, including on-prem and cloud environments.
• Apply change management practices aligned with ITIL.
• Develop and enforce cyber security programs.
• Lead backup and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Govern IT projects including budgeting and decision processes.
• Support cloud strategy across private and public clouds.
• Drive digital transformation to enable growth.
