Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/MIS or equivalent experience.
• 5–7+ years designing and deploying ICT systems.

• Proven ability to mentor teams and build high‑performing cross‑functional groups.
• Excellent relationship building with team members and clients.
• Experience responding to RFPs/RFQs is a plus.

What we need

We are seeking to hire an Information Technology Practice Lead to join our team and assist in the delivery of IT related projects and support our goal of being the trusted technology partner. In this role you will help and support the following:

• Lead client engagements to deliver digital transformation and IT related projects.
• Ensure services, project work and reports are delivered in a quality manner and in compliance with all client and Vivacity Technology standards.
• Have a deep knowledge of IT shared-services, with an ability to correlate IT with an organization's operational and business teams.
• Significant experience with implementing Microsoft 365 services, including on premise and cloud-based environments.
• Conducted strong change management practices, with an awareness of ITIL Change Management best practices an asset.
• Strong awareness and ability to enact cyber security programs to protect an organization's applications, data and staff. Experience and deep understanding of cyber security best practices is an asset.
• Experience with implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions for an organization, either leading initiatives or as part of a team.
• Implemented structures and frameworks around IT Governance, including project management, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
• Supported the strategy and implementation of cloud environments, including private and public clouds.
• Experience and knowledge of data centre technologies, including automation/orchestration and containers, to evolve and streamline exceptional IT services to an organization.
• Strong desire and ability to drive the digital transformation of an organization, making sizable changes to support and accelerate growth.

Qualifications and Other Assets

• Ideally have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or similar experience.
• 5-7+ years of recent related experience in the design and deployment of Information and Communication Technology systems and services.
• Passion for problem solving, leading organizational change, and improving business outcomes through technology enablement.
• A continual drive to become a team leader who mentors colleagues and creates high-performing cross-functional teams that deliver exceptional results.
• Strong ability to build meaningful relationships with team members and clients.
• Experience in responding or receiving Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotes (RFQs) is an asset.
• Able to define a vision, develop a strategy, and execute against a plan to solve tough IT challenges of all sizes.
• Experience with building documentation, and a knowledge base to support current and future projects.
• Fluency and high proficiency in English, written and spoken

Additional Information

Full-time position.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.
