This position involves driving improvements for a vital business enabler, necessitating collaboration with developers and DevOps teams. We're looking for self-starters who are highly motivated to make a positive impact on the global organization by finding solutions to security problems without letting security become a blocker.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Key Responsibilities:

This is a highly technical, hands-on, code-driven role. It is not suitable for individuals primarily focused on operational risk or audit, or those who cannot code.

Must-have skills at a deeply specialist level include:

• Core IT security principles
• Ability to code
• Automating security processes and systems
• Code security, including knowledge and experience of source code reviews

Must-have skills at a good level of competence include:

• Code repositories and management
• Networking
• Secrets Manager
• Python
• Ansible
• Ability to learn and understand new technologies

Basic competence in the following is acceptable:

• Basic cryptography
• Java
• GitLab

Key Responsibilities:

• Securing AWS environments, managing daily security tasks, and planning long-term strategies.
• Collaborating with DevOps teams to ensure security from the start of new systems.
• Integrating security into existing and new DevOps pipelines to enhance code security.
• Guiding and educating developers on fixing critical security issues in their code.

• CISO, Security Engineering Leads, Head of Infrastructure, Lead Developers, DevOps teams

This role reports to the Head of Security Engineering.
