Job summary

East Penn Canada is seeking an experienced Manager, IT Business Systems to lead SAP S/4HANA and related applications from our Courtice, Ontario head office. You will partner with business leaders and external partners to deliver value, drive continuous improvement, and ensure systems support enterprise goals.

You will manage a high-impact IT team, oversee tickets and projects, and align technology with operational needs across transportation, motive power, back-up power, and consumer markets.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 8+ years of experience in a business, operational, or technical role with meaningful exposure to ERP/SAP-driven processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP business processes within one or more core functional areas (Sales, MM/Procurement, WM, Finance).
• Understanding of end-to-end business processes such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, warehouse ops, and finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Business Systems team.
• Oversee SAP S/4HANA and related business applications, ensuring reliability and alignment with requirements.
• Monitor, prioritize, and report on business systems tickets and coordinate third-level support.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements for initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional project teams delivering software, process improvement, and system enhancements.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations.
• Serve as primary contact for consulting, implementation, and software partners.
