Job summary

East Penn Canada is seeking a Manager, IT Business Systems to oversee the SAP S/4HANA ERP platform and related business applications from the Head Office in Courtice, ON. This is a 100% in-office leadership role focused on delivering reliable systems that support business processes and drive improvement.

You will bridge business leaders, IT, and partners, ensuring solutions deliver value, align with goals, and enable enterprise-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 8+ years of experience in a business, operational, or technical role with meaningful exposure to ERP/SAP-driven processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP business processes within Sales & Distribution, Materials Management/Procurement, Warehouse Management, or Finance.
• Understanding end-to-end business processes and how technology supports them.
• IT project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Business Systems team with leadership and development focus.
• Oversee SAP S/4HANA and related applications ensuring reliability and business alignment.
• Monitor and report on business systems tickets; coordinate third-level support and incident resolution.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resources for approved initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional project teams delivering software, process improvements, and system enhancements.
• Balance internal and external resources to meet delivery, quality, and budget objectives.
• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions across lifecycles.
• Serve as primary contact for consultants, implementation partners, and software vendors.
