What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the Small Business Lending Operations team, the Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for managing all aspects of administration and monitoring of credit facilities, maintaining independent responsibility for the input, monitoring and escalation of risk elements on complex credit portfolios. You would also be required to ensure productivity standards are achieved and Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Relationship Building - Required to respond to client's inquires and requests, providing professional high quality customer service for the assigned portfolio to ensure client satisfaction. You will liase and interact with relationship managers as part of the daily management of your portfolio.
  • Administration & Analytical Thinking - Review draft credit agreements and prepare all security documentation in accordance with client's articles of incorporation. You will also be required to review executed credit agreements and security documentation and escalate all errors/ omissions for correction prior to funding.
  • Business Acumen - You will be responsible for managing the credit fulfillment function by providing specialized operational expertise. You will also be required to act independently of the business to ensure ongoing compliance of the terms and conditions of the authorized credit and exercise delegated authority to make decisions as required.
  • Technically Savvy - Comfortable using MS Teams, Outlook calendar. Experience with COINS, PostEdge, ECIF, GOW, iCAP system, Streamloanis a strong asset.
  • Lending knowledge - experience with lending administrationwould be an asset (Banker's Acceptance, Letters of Credit, Visa, term loans, LAS loans).
