Job summary

S.I. Systems Ltd. in Calgary is seeking an Intermediate IT Project Controller to support project governance, financials, and risk tracking within a PMO environment.

The contract is 1 year with strong extension potential; hybrid model (3 days onsite/2 days remote) and experience with SAP, Power BI, and multi-BU portfolios are required.

You will coordinate activities, track budgets, and provide recommendations for ongoing improvements across IT projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' IT Project Controls or IT Project Coordination experience.
• Experience with IT/IS project financing and budgeting.
• SAP experience ( ideally with Project System and Enterprise Portfolio, Purchase Requisition & Project Management modules)
• Experience with Power BI for reporting, visualizations, and tracking (automation/AI forward thinking)
• Experience working within a PMO and/or ability to manage multi-million, multi-year, and a multi-Business Unit portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop risk mitigation and financial tracking within IT PMO across multiple projects and business units.
• Coordinate project activities, track schedules, and leverage SAP, Power BI, Excel, and SharePoint to ensure successful delivery.

Our large Oil & Gas industry client is seeking an Intermediate IT Project Controller to support project governance, financials, and risk tracking within a PMO environment.

Duration: 1-year initial contract (strong possibility of extension)

Working model: Hybrid working model (3 days onsite/ 2 days remote)

Must-Haves:

• 4+ years' of IT Project Controls or IT Project Coordination experience
• Experience with IT/IS project financing and budgeting
• SAP experience ( ideally with Project System and Enterprise Portfolio, Purchase Requisition & Project Management modules)
• Experience with Power BI for reporting,visualizations, and tracking (automation/AI forward thinking individual)

Overview:

Working within an IT PMO handling multiple simultaneous projects and business units, the IT Project Controller will work alongside IT Project Coordinators and IT Project/Program Managers to develop risk mitigation, financial tracking, and recommendations for ongoing improvements and developments in projects. Additionally, the IT Project Controller, will coordinate project activities, track schedules, and leveraging tools (SAP, Power BI, Excel, and SharePoint) to ensure the successful delivery of ongoing and new projects/programs.
