Job summary

US Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Banking IT Project Manager in Montreal to lead IT transformation initiatives across Banking Business Lines.

You will manage governance, stakeholder alignment, and cross-team dependencies while driving delivery through all project phases. The role requires extensive PM experience in banking, Cash Management or payments, and strong communication skills in English and French.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead assigned projects to completion with delivery of agreed objectives.
• Ensure all projects follow governance policies, including proper Project Governance and Software Development Lifecycle.
• Identify and secure buy-in from key project stakeholders and sponsors.
• Drive delivery by maintaining project lists, organizing follow-up meetings, and distributing meeting minutes.
• Ensure clear communication of goals, budget, risks, and project status.
• Work closely with Front Office, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Risk to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage conflict and constraints to ensure project success.
• Lead the cross-functional delivery of technology deliverables using advanced negotiation, facilitation, and dependency management.
• Lead sprint planning and stand-ups across the full project lifecycle.
• Identify and manage cross-team dependencies and risks; define and drive mitigation plans

Duration: 12 Months Contract

About the Role

Join a leading financial institution's technology organization in Montre al. The Banking IT Project Management team manages IT transformation projects across all Banking Business Lines, requiring strong functional/business knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of Banking, Payments, and Cash Management.

• 10 years' experience as a Project Manager
• Experience in Cash Management, SWIFT payments, and Banking
• Consulting experience
• Deep knowledge of project management concepts, planning, documentation, and stakeholder management
• Excellent knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Bachelor's degree and relevant IT project management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience in Banking
• Languages: English & French
