Job summary

eTeam in Montréal, QC is seeking a Finance Project Manager to lead a portfolio of Finance and Tax optimization projects for a 12-month contract. You will coordinate cross-functional teams with Finance, IT and the CFO-level stakeholders to deliver on-time results.

The role demands strong program management experience in financial services, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset toward digital process improvement and governance. Fluency in English and French is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of related experience, preferably within Financial Services in international environments.
• PMP and/or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and oral communication, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
• Ability to work with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Management of Transformation / Continuous Improvement / Digital projects in Finance.
• Animate Internal Finance projects coordinating Finance teams to reach internal goals.
• Coordinate with F&RS/IT and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time quality delivery.
• Scope projects and develop Implementation Project Plans.

Job Title: Finance Project Manager

Job Description

The Finance and Tax (F&T) Transformation and Continuous Project Manager will manage a portfolio of Finance and Tax process/tool optimization projects under the supervision of the local team leader to support you in this effort. (S)he will contribute to the F&T digital community.

Main Responsibilities

• Management of Transformation / Continuous Improvement / Digital projects, where Finance processes are being optimized & streamlined.
• Animate Internal Finance projects, where various Finance teams need to be coordinated to reach an internal goal (organization topics, internal requests from the Group, internal requests from the CFO executive committee)..

The Finance Transformation project manager will coordinate with F&RS/IT and internal stakeholders across F&T to ensure on-time quality delivery of the project portfolio.

(S)he will:

• with autonomy establish and conduct meetings to communicate objectives, expectations, project roles, status updates, track open issues, and work with all groups and clients to resolve issues as required.
• Scope projects and develop Implementation Project Plans
• conduct end to end process review on complex assignments
• Identify risks and develops risk mitigation plans.
• Develop measurable project goals and objectives and monitor progress toward achievement.
• Drive implementation consistency and quality through execution of project management best practices.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality
• Develop detailed project plans including documentation, testing and executing protocol, tasks, budgets, timelines, and status metrics.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 8-10 years of related experience, preferably within Financial Services Industries in international environments
• Good knowledge of Project Management processes and workflow (PMP and/or Scrum Master certification is a plus)
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Digital and Continuous Improvement Mindset / Experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely to audiences of varying technical or seniority levels.
