This position offers an opportunity to join the Ontario Technology Team within the Property & Buildings Sector. As an IT Infrastructure consultant in ICAT (Information, Communication, and Automation Technology), you will collaborate on innovative projects.

Key responsibilities:
  • Consult on IT Infrastructure, including cabling, network design, and technology systems.
  • Manage projects from concept to closeout, including design, documentation, tender review, and project management.
  • Engage stakeholders through workshops and requirements elicitation.
  • Develop technical and client-facing documents using software tools like MS Office, Bluebeam, Adobe, etc.
  • Review design and construction drawings using REVIT, AutoCAD, and similar tools.
  • Participate in technical meetings with diverse audiences.
  • Guide and mentor less experienced team members.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure consulting.
  • Knowledge of alternative delivery models (e.g., Alliance, DBFM, Design Build) is a plus.
  • Experience with active networking preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage large IT projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen and presentation skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Works and Government Services Canada Level 2 security clearance.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with willingness for overtime and travel.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle for site visits.
