Position Summary

A Senior Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of internal Infrastructure platforms. They will provide expert technical assistance to the team and consulting services to business areas to understand needs. This role will be accountable for designing, technically leading implementation, and testing/troubleshooting complex/core infrastructure to ensure system stability.

What you'll do

1. Plan and develop infrastructure designs to meet current and future company needs.
2. Utilize data analytics, monitoring, and alerting to provide technical direction based on actual data and statistics.
3. Coordinate with global peers and partners to review and share designs, and assist in building product and platform roadmaps. Follow roadmaps and guide support specialists.
4. Select product lines and platforms for infrastructure, including proof of concept validation, testing, and certification to ensure security compliance.
5. Educate and train other infrastructure specialists to build, expand, and support infrastructure designs.
6. Provide Level 3 support for complex infrastructure issues, using tools to identify root causes.
7. Offer consulting services for strategic projects and initiatives.
8. Create and maintain design and build documentation, and contribute to best practices and knowledge bases.

Qualifications

• Technical certifications from vendors such as Nutanix, VMWare, or Microsoft.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, able to convey technical and non-technical messages effectively.

Minimum Education

Technical or Business School diploma.

Experience

6-8 years of relevant experience.
