Job summary

BinSentry is an extremely fast-growing ag-tech company focused on AI-powered solutions for the agriculture supply chain. We design, manufacture, and assemble our own hardware integrated with software as a service, and we are looking for an Electronics Engineer to push the limits of technology and power the Mill of the Future.

The candidate will design digital, analog and power circuits, bring up systems, and ensure regulatory compliance, with environmental testing and production documentation

Qualifications

• Electrical or Electronics Engineering Degree.
• 5+ years of experience designing electronic systems and PCB.
• Proficient with Altium for schematic capture, PCB layout and footprints.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and related equipment.
• Understanding of transistor and op-amp design.
• Able to hand-solder small SMD components (0402 or smaller).
• Experience with prototype PCB contract manufacturers.
• Knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet; microcontrollers; switching power supplies.
• Some C firmware exposure on MCUs or RTOS.
• SPC in medium volume manufacturing.
• Experience guiding projects through regulatory testing.

Job Summary

BinSentry is growing by multiples every year and we need great talent to help design and build awesome new hardware. We need someone who is excited to push the limits of technology and create the systems that will power the Mill of the Future.

Qualifications

• Electrical or Electronics Engineering Degree
• 5+ years of experience designing electronic systems and PCB
• Very comfortable using Altium in all phases of schematic capture, PCB layout and component footprint creation
• Very experienced in the use of oscilloscopes, multimeters and related equipment
• A deep understanding of transistor and op-amp level designs
• Comfortable with Vernier calipers, micrometers and surface plates
• Capable of hand soldering small SMD components (0402 or smaller)
• Experience working with prototype PCB CMs
• Demonstrated knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet protocols, microcontrollers and switching power supplies
• Some exposure to writing firmware in C either directly on microcontrollers or with an RTOS
• Trained and experienced in applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) to medium volume manufacturing
• Experienced in successfully guiding projects through regulatory testing

BinSentry is creating the Mill of the Future

BinSentry is an Internet of Things (IoT) startup in the AgTech (agriculture technology) industry. Our sensors help monitor inventory for feed bins by predicting future consumption using deep learning and generating optimal shipping routes using genetic algorithms. We design, manufacture, and assemble our own hardware but we put a heavy focus on software services as well. Our software leverages the power of our sensor to automate numerous aspects of a feed mill; from ordering feed to delivering it. We offer both our hardware and software as a service (HaaS and SaaS).
