Position Summary:

Position: IT Coordinator

Type: Full Time

Location: Head Office at Fort McKay Incubator Park

Schedule: 40 Hours per week. Monday to Thursday (Alternating Friday off schedule)

Note: This position is open to local candidates only

Role Summary:

  • Provide day-to-day support for Windows work stations.Assist in user account administration (Active Directory, Azure AD).Perform system updates, patches, and backups as scheduled.Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.Respond to support tickets and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Support cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure (storage, networking).
  • Monitor system performance and resolve hardware/software issues.
  • The IT Coordinator will troubleshoot any network issues as they arise for all internal business units.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement infrastructure projects.
  • This role will assist in the creation and management of policies and procedures, assist with the implementation of new software and ensure compliance.
  • Help maintain security policies and ensure compliance (firewalls, antivirus, MFA).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services (Azure AD/ Entra ID, Resource Groups).Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Android OS.
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to develop great working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Education & Experience:

  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Android OS.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-900, MD-102, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems. Experience with Office 365 administration.
  • Knowledge of backup solutions and endpoint protection tools.
