A leading financial institution is seeking a Change Management Specialist Lead in Toronto. This role involves planning and executing change management activities, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality deliverables. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience and a solid understanding of change management principles.

• Strong communicator able to engage with team members at all levels from leadership level, down to identify, create and implement change management tactics & plan inclusive of communications and training to support assigned project deliverables and readiness.
• Leads the change management workstream for projects of medium scale / complexity.
• Accountable for own work and sometimes others; acts as an escalation point or knowledge resource related to change methodology / tools for others in their own area or on the project team.
• Responsible for the quality and timeliness of all change management deliverables for the project or multiple workstreams. Including consults with senior stakeholders to ensure change management is meeting the needs of the business and project(s).
• Integrates knowledge of change management methodology with the project / strategy to recommend and implement effective change management interventions, across multiple stakeholder groups.
• The Change Mgmt. Specialist Lead plans and/or executes on the end-to-end delivery of Change Management activities throughout the lifecycle for assigned projects / initiatives in alignment with the change management strategy and business objectives.

• Acts as the change management lead for Tier 3, high risk Legal projects
• Leads a diverse range of stakeholders; communicate effectively assessing potential change processes and diverse audience issues / objectives
• Analyze impacts/risks and provide recommendations to customers, stakeholders, employees, process, technology solutions to achieve business results
• Leads and owns the project deliverables related to change management to meet the needs of the customer, employee, and business and drive successful adoption of change
• Assesses and ensures that customer and employee experience / stakeholder impacts are appropriately understood and managed
• Engages appropriate stakeholders to identify and manage required outcomes of projects for the business
• Creates change plans and activities that drive adoption of change
• Develops change strategies, plans, and activities that drive adoption of change and benefits realization based on business needs
• Ensures respective policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with business priorities
• Consistently exercises discretion in managing correspondence, information, and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate.
• Change management industry best practices, lines of businesses supported, project management, organization practices, business culture(s) and business transformation
• Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations
