About the role

We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our growing AI team!

What you'll do here:

1. Lead/participate in business requirements specification workshops to specify IT solutions.
2. Work closely with the product manager/stakeholders to realize the product vision.
3. Conduct impact analyses and effort estimates to propose, approve, and document IT solutions using effective methods and interacting with both business users and the IT project team.
4. Support the development of solutions and technical analyses.
5. Support quality assurance activities and acceptance testing.
6. Assist the product manager in defining and prioritizing the product backlog.
7. Document user stories so they are clearly understood by developers and the quality assurance team.
8. Build and maintain functional documentation that is robust, accurate, and accessible to all business stakeholders.
9. Play a key role as a communicator, linking external stakeholders (architects, business analysts, infrastructure, etc.) and the team.
10. Work with the Scrum Master to ensure team process cohesion.
11. Follow end-to-end data access request processes.

What you bring to the table:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, computer science, or equivalent.
2. At least 8 years of relevant experience as a functional analyst.
3. Strong technical knowledge of the development lifecycle (MLOps, UI, Backend API, etc.).
4. Relevant experience in artificial intelligence projects.
5. Comfortable working in complex environments and multidisciplinary teams.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Knowledge of an Agile framework or method (Scrum, Kanban).
8. Bilingualism (French and English) - Requires regular interaction with colleagues across the country.
9. No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
